It's Wednesday, and Flag Day, so "What's in the Attic with Jim?"
In this photograph (ca. 1950s) we have the Boy Scouts from Pack 384 proudly marching the "Stars and Stripes" in a parade down Broad Street approaching the intersection of Middle Street. Clark's Drug Store is just out of view to the right, and in the background you can see The Beverly Italian Restaurant as well as the Fireman's Museum. We think that Senior Enlisted Marine is doing a fine job keeping the boys in line! Also take note that Historical Marker C19 (Washington's Southern Tour) seen at the far right of this image was relocated to Pollock & Eden Streets - something to keep your eye out for next time you're close by! We hope you have a great Flag Day and look forward to sharing more with you from the Attic next Wednesday!
