Paper tickets are required for entry. Pick up your ticket/map at the Historical Society office, 511 Broad Street, New Bern, before or at Ghostwalk. Office hours M-F 10am-4pm; during Ghostwalk 9am-9pm. Phone 252-638-8558.

Ticket prices (NC sales tax will be added):

  • Historical Society members: $15
  • Students with current ID: $15
  • Active duty military & family members with current ID: $15
  • Children 3-12: $5 (under 3 free)
  • Special ghostly group rate of 13 or more: $13 ea (call the office to purchase)  

Ghostwalk is a rain or shine event. Event will only be cancelled in the event of dangerous conditions, high winds, lightning, etc. Tickets are not refundable. Pets are not permitted.  Check our website or Facebook page for details and updates.

Ghostwalk is a family-friendly, self-guided, self-paced walking tour featuring historical spirits telling their stories in historic downtown New Bern.  Tickets good for all three nights (not all attractions open all three nights; see schedule).  Sites include the ever-popular Cedar Grove Cemetery, several indoor locations, front porches, and a special vintage game show on the Attmore-Oliver House back porch stage.  Churches also offer tours and food.  Click for details, map, and schedule.
