New Bern Battlefield Park & Visitors Pavilion - Rental Information

  1. Provision of food and drink is the responsibility of the individuals holding the event.
  2. Catering by approved caterers.
  3. There is an area for plating, but there is no kitchen facility.
  4. Food should be served in the Pavilion.
  5. Napkins, tablecloths, towels, chairs, tables and cleaning materials such as garbage bags, are to be provided by the individuals holding the event.
  6. Immediately at the conclusion of the function, all food and beverages must be removed from the premises.
  7. A trash removal fee of $50.00 will be charged to the renter for any trash or garbage not removed from the premises immediately following the event.
  8. Dripless candles may be used.
  9. Confetti, rice or similar materials are not permitted.
  10.  Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed.
  11. Renter is responsible for all items, property, guests, and employees during the scheduled event, and will not hold the New Bern Historical Society responsible for any damage or injury.
  12. Renter will be responsible and liable for any damage or loss sustained during the use of the property. Damages to the premises may result in the forfeiture of all or part of the security deposit.
  13. The property will be returned to original condition after an event.
  14. Renter will be responsible and obligated to remove any equipment, food, or decorative material brought onto the premise. In the event that the renter fails to clean the premises the renter will forfeit all or part of the security deposit.
