Want to volunteer?

We are always looking for people to volunteer in the office and for our many events.  It’s rewarding and a great way to meet new people!

    Good morning, my name is Anthony Allen and I am an active duty navy member currently stationed in Patuxent River, Md. My team of 8 guys will be temporarily assigned to MCAS Cherry Point from the 18th of October to the 5th of November. We are looking for a volunteer opportunity over one of the weekends that we will be there. If you would have any suggestions, please inform me and I can present it to the team.     My husband Richard and I would like to become members of the historical society and also to volunteer. We are available to volunteer for the upcoming ghost walk. Through a friend, who is a Rotarian, we have volunteered for the past 2 years onsite. We look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi,
    I would like to volunteer to work at the upcoming Ghostwalk. I did work in the cemetery 2 yrs. ago, but would be willing to work wherever you need. I am a very active senior fairly new to New Bern….and love it.

    Hi, I’m doing my graduation project on the restoration and conservation of buildings, and I was wondering if I could volunteer or if a member of the society could be my mentor in restoring something like furniture.
