Volunteer Appreciation Party

The 2010 Volunteer Appreciation Garden Party was a great success. Approximately 150 volunteers enjoyed an afternoon in the Attmore-Oliver Garden under a large tent on Sunday. May 23.

We have already scheduled next year’s party, which will be held at the New Bern Civil War Battlefield Park on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the Visitor Center pavilion. We hope that our volunteers will place that date on their calendars!

The New Bern Historical Society truly appreciates the countless hours of volunteering required to present our events and educational programs!
