The New Bern Historical Society and the New Bern Preservation Foundation invite you to attend the annual Spring Historic Homes and Gardens Tour on April 8-9, 2011, from 10:00am – 4:00 pm. Enjoy Friday, Saturday or both on this self guided tour of New Bern’s finest homes and gardens. Visit many premier homes in the Historic District, and do not forget to stop by the 1930 Pinnix Drug Store for a good old-fashion, homemade bag lunch and homemade baked goods. Don’t miss this opportunity to leisurely stroll along the timeworn streets of New Bern’s historic neighborhoods and explore the finest architecture and flora our town has to offer.

About Spring Historic Homes and Gardens Tour
The Spring Historic Homes and Gardens Tour is a major fundraiser for the New Bern Historical Society and its partner for this event, New Bern Preservation Foundation. Each year, owners of historic homes open their homes so that ticket holders may explore and appreciate the exquisite gardens and architectural history of houses on tour. Most downtown historic churches are also open on tour days.
