Bayard v Singleton

On Thursday, September 16, the Craven County Bar Association and the New Bern Historical Society will co-sponsor two reprise public performances of the reenactment of New Bern’s colonial landmark case, Bayard v Singleton. The performances will be at the newly renovated Federal Courthouse on Middle Street at 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm. The reenactment is FREE to the public.

Bayard v Singleton is one of the most important early cases involving the exercise of judicial review by an American court.
